Our Philosophy in Working with Groups


We believe that for any organization, group or individual to be most effective, periodic "time-outs" are essential.  In fact, performance depends on it. 
  • Adapting goals, strategies, structure and processes are required to navigate the future
  • Issues labeled as interpersonal are sometimes system outcomes
  • Conflict is useful and can be generative (when managed)
  • Capitalizing on unique strengths and different view points can lead to innovative and robust solutions
  • Planning and "team building" should be combined, not separated
  • Participants should determine the agenda
  • Celebrating is essential
  • Attending to individual relationships and group dynamics is necessary
  • Facilitators can help a group go farther and deeper faster, as well as be more effective going forward
We are experts at designing and facilitating custom off-sites (or retreats) for groups including:  leadership, management and functional teams, divisions, departments, cross- departments, cross-section of an organization, as well as, entire small organizations (under 100 people).
